Terms of use

RentEasy is an introduction and brokering service for holiday lets, personally run. We list homes on behalf of their owners, match them with people looking for a stay, and broker the terms between the two sides. We are not a booking platform: when a stay is agreed, the arrangement is between the owner and the renter, with our brokerage fee as set out at the time.

Listing details are supplied by owners and checked by us before they appear in public search, but we can’t guarantee every detail. Dates, prices and availability shown publicly are indicative until confirmed with us directly. We may edit, decline or remove a listing at our discretion.

Use the site honestly and as intended: don’t submit false details, scrape or bulk-collect listings, probe other people’s links or accounts, or use the enquiry and sign-in flows to send spam. We may suspend access that abuses the service.

Signing in requires a working email address. You’re responsible for keeping access to your inbox secure — anyone with your sign-in link can act as you. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.

We provide the site and the brokering service with reasonable care, but the stay itself — the property, its condition and the conduct of each party — is the responsibility of the owner and renter who agree it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
